Our client is in the healthcare/payments space, dedicated to help providers get paid in a timely fashion, AND help patients. We all know how confusing doctor bills can be, and it’s their mission to ease the process for everyone - especially for patients who are seriously ill and riddled with bills to keep on top of their payments. They provide multiple, much more modern ways to pay (e.g. ApplePay, text / digital alerts) to let patients release that part of the hassle of their healthcare so they can focus on healing. Improving people’s lives is their major inspiration and driver, and they have an incredible 95% patient satisfaction rate.
Their new Head of Design is also a former client of ours, and is a positive and energetic force of nature - she’s laying the foundation for a growing Product Design team.
You’ll be taking charge of the Provider site of the platform - one of the two main pillars of the ecosystem, iterating on the interface that healthcare administrators are working with every day, to help manage their billing and workflow. You’ll be able to identify and propose opportunities for new features, and make your mark in creating key components to help evolve the platform. You’ll perform User Research - you’ll have access to providers, and will be able to do observe them in their workplace. You are excited by both the human side and the data side of this complex challenge - with an eye to how the product can use data to streamline the process for providers and patients alike. You have strong end-to-end Product Design skills, from conception to research to wires to prototypes to pixel perfect delivery - and thrive working closely with product managers and developers.
They're proud of the fact that 35% of the Dev team is female, and their culture is extremely friendly, non-cliquey, highly collaborative, and they've got a bright lofty space in SoHo with lots of places to meet and chill that they are rapidly growing out of, so they just acquired more space downstairs to expand. The vibe is inclusive, casual and comfortable - dynamic and easeful at the same time - with lots of cross department hanging out. Lunch is catered daily, and people don’t sit at their desks - they hang out in their sunny lunchroom, and socialize across departments. Their work/life balance is very respectful, and their C-suite holds office hours so they’re accessible to everyone in the company.
