Great for a Senior / Lead designer looking to grow their career....
Be on the cutting edge of a growing industry (predicted growth from $500M => $5-10B in next 5 years) to BE, and eventually grow, their high-visibility and highly-valued design department. You are great at elegant, minimalistic data viz, creating and honing design languages and styleguides, being super-duper attentive to detail and know when there's a pixel out of place, and have natural leadership and collaboration skills. Past experience launching product is a must, startup experience preferred (or you just have that mojo!) Great WFH flexibility / they treat you like the adult that you are.
Visual Design Lead @ museum / exhibition design firm
Be a hands-on, high-visibility member of this boutique, longstanding, esteemed museum and exhibition design firm with an array of clients. Projects span these types of projects (the more, the better!): Experiential, x-platform digital design...touchscreen design....motion graphics and video....embedded UI and IoT....projections and media walls....trade show graphics and installations....museum exhibits.
Jr/Midlevel Visual UI Designer for EdTech startup
Do good in the world at a company whose aim is to **eradicate poverty** through leveling the educational playing field in K-5 math.
Role is a mix of 80% Visual UI and Production work - admin screens / dashboards, teachers' lessons, forms, buttons, etc.
20% marketing work - pdfs, posters, email template design. So, not a lot, but you can't be allergic to it.
Kid-friendly illustration skills is a big plus but not required.
Self-starter who's cool with working with an offsite - yet very involved and nurturing - manager; there's a design team on the ground who will take you under their wing, too. Great mix of self-guided independence and team nurturing.

Fun yet brainy mobile data tech startup with CTO clients from marquis global companies.
Founders sold their last startup for $MM's of dollars so this isn't their first time at the rodeo.
You'll be one half of a team of two, along with their whipsmart Director of UX. You love to dig into deep, complex problems, have some B2B + Enterprise software / SaaS work experience, preferably, and you're a master wireframer and sitemap maker. Research isn't a major focus and you're cool doing on the fly. You've got chutzpah and a great ability to tell WHY you made the design decisions you did.
